Symmetry

One way of distinguishing between animals is determining what sort of symmetry their bodies exhibit. There are two types of symmetry: radial, and bilateral. An animal that exhibits radial symmetry has its organs arranged in a circle, or like the spokes of a wheel. An animal that exhibits bilateral symmetry has a body that has a definite right side and left side, or is tube-shaped, with a top and bottom or front and tail. Humans exhibit bilateral symmetry, whereas a starfish exhibits radial symmetry.

Does your animal exhibit radial symmetry,
or
bilateral symmetry?
